You can purchase the new release items right now from the
Altenew Store
My second card using the
Our Friendship Blooms Stamp set uses the stamp in it's whole form. The card base was adorned with the
Slim Deco Cover dies and a sentiment added. I stamped and die cut the image, this time I used the layering stamps rather than the Simple Coloring Stencil for a different look.
I love the possibilities this stamp set gives, stamp layering, stencilling, watercoloring or markers, you really can create so many different looks.
For my second card using the
Queen Anemone Stamp set I decided upon a pastel pink and brown theme. I stamped and
Die cut the images using Altenew's Crisp Inks. To create the background I embossed some brown card using the
Organic Linen Embossing Folder, I added some shimmery gilding wax to bring out the detail and tone down the harsh brown.
I then cut the
Swirl Motif die from a blush pearl effect card and white card, I layered these together and adhered them to the left side of the embossed panel. I added the stamped images and added a sentiment using the
Script word dies.
Next I have two cards using the
Tall Foliage Stamp set. My first card uses the stamps and matching
Die set, I stamped and heat embossed with Altenew's Copper embossing powder onto some vellum, before cutting.
I prepared a slimline card base using some teal ink, I added black die cuts using the
Slim Deco cover dies. I heat embossed some card using the Copper embossing powder and cut a sentiment from the
Bold Greetings die set. I added the Tall Foliage die cut elements using some glossy accents behind the embossed areas so that it can not be seen.
Working with Pantones 2021 colors, I stamped the
Tall Foliage images and added color using the
Simple Coloring Stencil. I added some detail in the background with a light inking through the Feeling Dotty Stencil.
Altenew are also releaseing two new Washi tapes this month, this first one is the
Foiled Marble Washi. It has a grey and gold marble pattern. I run a piece of white card through my die cutting machine with the
Ornate debossing cover die. I added a piece of the washi to some card and used the
Bold Alphabet dies to cut the X's and O's, I cut several from white card also and adhered them together for a faux chipboard effect. I also used a piece of the
Golden Edge Washi to underline the sentiment.
