Hello and welcome to the February Craft-A-Flower release blog hop and giveaway. You should have arrived here from the Altenew Card Blog, if at any time you get lost along the way, you can navigate via the list at the bottom of my post.
The Craft-A-Flower Cosmos is in store now and available to purchase as a one time buy. I will share details below of the Monthly subscription plan. For my first example I cut the CAF Cosmos from Red Cosmos, Summer Afternoon and Green Meadows Gradient Cardstock. I adhered the coloured card to Altenew's Double sided Adhesive sheets before cutting to save on time and make sure I had edge to edge adhesion.
I added the assembled flowers to a background that I embossed using the Ribbon Waves embossing folder. I added some inky splatters and a sentiment from the Essential sentiment strips die set. This was a relatively quick make and fulfils the CAS look I love.
My second card features more inky flowers which I created by spraying some card with Altenew's Metallic Ink sprays before die cutting. I used Warm Sunshine, Orange Cream and Sunkissed Metallic Ink Sprays. I cut them in the same way as my previous card using Altenew's Adhesive sheets.
The flowers were added to a background that I debossed using the Dotted Swirls Debossing Cover Die. I added a heat embossed sentiment from the Goldfish Pond Stamp Set.
