Welcome to the Lovely In Lace Collection release, blog hop and giveaway. You should have arrived here from Nenette S. Madero, if not you can go back to the start of the hop by visiting the Altenew Blog.

The Lovely In Lace collection consists of 6 3D embossing Folders and 1 Simple Coloring Stencil. I have used some of the new products to create some cards to give you an idea of how they can be used. You can purchase any or all of the collection now In Store

My first card features the Hosta Embossing folder. I embossed the image onto white cardstock and then added color by placing a couple of shades of ink on a glass mat, spritzing with water and then swiping the cardstock through. Only the raised areas grabbed the color, which resulted in a really nice effect.

I added a die cut word using the Brush Alpha die set, I cut it from both blue and silver glitter card. I adhered them with a slight drop shadow to help them pop. I then added a heat embossed sentiment strip below and a few enamel dots.

Next up is the Mariposa embossing folder. I have to say I love this one so much. I embossed the Mariposa onto white card stock and then used some loose watercolor to add some color to the image. Once dry I added glossy accents to the raised areas and sprinkles with iridescent glitter. I added a die cut sentiment to finish.

Lastly I am sharing a card using the Motif Tile 3D Embossing Folder. I embossed onto a burgundy colored cardstock and used a gold pigment ink pad to swipe over the raised areas to pick up the detail. I added a vellum die cut foliage branch and glitter sentiment to give a feeling of luxury.
