Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Dahlia Bright Eyes Outline Stamp Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($200 in Total Prizes)

Welcome to the Paint-A-Flower Dahlia Bright Eyes release blog hop and giveaway, you should have arrived here from Colleen Balija, if not you can go back to the start of the hop at anytime by visiting the Altenew Card Blog.

The Dahlia Bright Eyes Outline Stamp Set is a large stunning stamp which is easy to color due to the style of linear used, it allows you to add your depth and shading easily. The sentiments included allow you to build your own tailored sentiment.

Here I stamped the Dahlia Bright Eyes onto Kraft cardstock and used my Woodless Coloring Pencils to color the image. The texture of the card (tooth as it's called) works really well with these pencils, the creamy texture means that you can blend colors easily.

I didn't really do much blending as I wanted a very simple look to the card compare to my second card which you can see at the Altenew Card Blog. I added a stamped sentiment and then cut the panel using the Mega Stamp Frame. I then added this to a white A2 note card using foam pads.
