I am so excited to be joining Altenew for the release of the Paint-A-Flower Rosa Floribunda. You should have arrived here from Dana Joy, if not you can go back to the start of the hop at any time by visiting the Altenew Card Blog.
The PAF Rosa Floribunda is a stunning outline stamp set featuring a large cluster of flowers and 11 stamps which can be grouped together to build your ideal sentiment.
I decided that I would use the Rosa Floribunda to heat emboss onto a piece of Bristol smooth card, I chose to use Pure Crisp White embossing powder as I wanted my image to stand out once I did some ink blending. Using some Ultraviolet Crisp Ink I covered the whole of the cards surface. I then used a dry baby wipe to buff away the excess ink and reveal the crisp white image.
Using the Fine Tulle Stencil and a damp baby wipe I rubbed over the surface of the card to create a faux bleached effect. I then added some Galactic Stream Ink around the edges. I trimmed the card to measure 4"x 5.25" and added it to a white A2 notecard using foam tape. I stamped and cut the sentiments and added them with silicone glue. I decided that a small sprinkle of Antique Gold Sequins would just finish things off nicely.
