Mighty Kind Collection
I've made a ton of card in different styles to hopefully inspire you, lets take a look at them.
My first card features the new
Lovely Envelope Die Set. This is such a cute set, easy to put together and packs a punch. I decided to cut all of the elements from coloured card to save time, nut you could use markers, pencils or watercolours. I prepared my background using the
Dotted Swirls Debossing Cover Die, I love how it adds interest but doesn't overpower the focal point of a card.
The
Calming Reflection Cover Die is really cool and has a very retro feel to it. Here I cut it twice once from black and once from a greyish brown, I added the black one on top, turned 180. I then added a die cut sentiment using the
You Matter Die Set. I think this would make a great card for the men in your life.
As soon as I saw the
Flowing Foliage Die Set I knew I wanted to play with gilding flakes. I covered a piece of card with Altenew's
Double Sided Adhesive Sheets, I then added the die cut leaves and covered the surface with the Gilding flakes, I use a soft brush to swipe off the excess and then use a bone folder to make sure that everything is adhered well, putting a sheet of scrap paper over the surface before using the bone folder means you won't dull the shine.
Next up is the
Rose Queen Die Set, I'm not going to lie, when I first saw this die I had no idea what I would do with it but then inspiration hit. I cut it from black card and added it some Neenah cardstock. I used my Artist markers to add colour, I then cut my sentiment using the new
Mighty Alphabet Die Set. I cut four times from black card and once from Gold glitter card, I stacked them together using my
2 in 1 Precision glue pen and then adhered them over the floral image.
My last card features the
Simple Shapes Cover Die. I cut the die 3 times, once from white, pink and blue. I prepared a card base by covering it with
Double Sided Adhesive Sheets. I then added the white panel onto the card and started to add in some of the die cut pieces in pink and blue. I decided that the rest of the sections would look good with iridescent glitter. (I've kept all the other coloured pieces to use on future projects) I cut the sentiment using the
Be Kind Die Set.
Phew, that was a lot of cards. I hope you were inspired. Your next stop is
