Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Lotus Outline Stamp Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($200 in Total Prizes)

Welcome to the Altenew Paint-A-Flower:Lotus release blog hop and giveaway. You should have arrived here from Nathalie DeSousa if not you can go back to the start of the hop at any point by visiting the Altenew Card Blog.

My first card uses the PAF Lotus heat embossed in white, I then used some blue and green inks to blend over the heat embossed image. I also used the Tiny Bubbles stencil and a white pigment ink to add extra detail in the background. I added heat embossed sentiments and some black thread to finish the card.

I wanted to create a card that looked like an old enamelled sign, to do this I started by heat embossing the PAF Lotus in copper and using my Altenew watercolor brush makers to add color. Once dry I then added clear embossing ink over the entire surface and sprinkling with a clear dull embossing power and heat setting, this gives and aged look to the image. I added a small black matt of card and a stamped sentiment to complete the look.

Your next stop is Lilith Eeckels, before you leave make sure to check out the special offers and giveaway details.
