Welcome to the May Craft-A-Flower release, blog hop and giveaway. I am super excited to be joining Altenew for this release. You should have arrived here from Virginia Lu, if not you can go back to the start of the hop at any time by visiting the Altenew Card Blog, alternatively you can navigate using the links at the end of this post.
The CAF Buttercup is available as a one off purchase in store now. I will share details of how to sign up for the monthly subscription at the end of this post.
For my first example I choose to go a little different with my colours, I know Buttercups are traditionally yellow but I'm a sucker for pink flowers. I used the Cherry Blossoms ink pad set to colour some Neenah cardstock, I then cut the layer of the flowers ad adhered them together with wet glue, alternatively you could use Altenew's double sided adhesive sheets on the back of your chosen cardstock.
Your next stop is Laurie Willison, before you go take a moment to check out the Subscription details and giveaway information.
This is a monthly subscription plan for our Craft-A-Flower die set. When signed up, you are guaranteed a spot in our monthly Craft-A-Flower releases and will receive a set each month - at a specially discounted price! ($35.99 →$29.99)

They are pretty in pink too, but buttercup yellow is near and dear to my heart.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute in pink too!
ReplyDeleteLove both your beautiful cards with the different color ways!
ReplyDeleteI really like your two cards and the use of different colors and/or textures. The pink and grey combo is one that I must do as the colors work so well together. The 3-D frame on the 2nd card combined with the textured background added the extra touch and really supported the flower. Super work. You're very creative.
