Hello and welcome to the Altenew January Fresh Start blog hop. You should have arrived here from the uber talented Jaycee Gaspar, if not you can go back to the start of the hop at any time by visiting the Altenew Card Blog. You can also find the full ist of hop stops at the end of this post.
This release is jam packed with crafting goodies, Stamps, Dies, Mask/Stencils, Decals, embossing folders and A bone folder to boot. I've created nine cards for the release so lets take a look.
So this card is very similar to the first one in colour and style but to give it a little difference I used two flowers and changed the embossing folder to the
Swirl Motif. I love how much depth of detail you get from it.
Next is the
All Things A stamp set and
matching die set, I added the Heat embossed and ink blended "A" to a
Pocket Banner die cut. As well as the large "A" stamp the set also includes smaller connecting sentiments so that you can build the perfect sentiment
In keeping with the Pink and black of the last card, this card uses the same pallet but features the newly released
Block Sentiment stamp set and
Die set. This is a really cool set is full of lots of sentiment of different styles, the matching dies are great for making your sentiment a focal feature. I created the background with the
On the plus side stencil and added a potted Palm using the
Parlor Palm die set.
My next two card use the
Illusion Heart die set, for the first card I used my Altenew Artist markers to add colour. The great thing about this die set is that you can use one or many on your cards and add colour in many ways.
The second card with the Illusion Heart die set uses it just once, this time I have paper pieced to add colour.
Now on to the beautiful
Spotted Orchid stamp and
Die set, I have created two cards each very similar, For both cards I've created a background with the
Grid Cover Die and pieced in some black card to give a checker board look.
I added a sentiment from the
Simple Greetings die set. The die set includes four sentiment dies with matching mat layers. They have a really fun feel to them.

ReplyDeleteFantastic cards! My favorites are the last 2 orchid cards with the checkerboard backgrounds. I also really like the flying geese and palm tree cards. Simple but so impactful.
ReplyDeleteHi, Terri - You have offered us a plethora of beautiful cards to admire. I love the one w/ the geese (Soar) and the orchid one near the bottom... but I also really like the "This too shall pass" (a favorite saying of mine) and the others. One small note: "pallet" is not the word you meant. You needed "palette."
ReplyDeleteThanks again for sharing.
