Hello and Welcome, I am so excited to be writing this post and sharing some images of a project made with some of the new items from the new release. This month we are releasing the Jointed Paper Art Doll (JDAP for short). Kim has put a lot of time and love into getting these new items in to production and I know you are going to love them.
So what is a Jointed paper art doll I hear you say. Well let me show you,
The Doll has been designed so that all of the limbs, head, torso and hips are able to move and strike a pose. Kim has also designed an awesome paper brad that allows you to put the doll together without the added bulk of traditional brads or eyelets, and better still they are not visible once assembled. As you can see from the pictures below you can use metal fastenings if you choose.
Lets have a look at my project for today's intro
First off can I just say how cute is she? I am so in love with how she looks. I used the paper pack that Kim designed to create clothes for her.
Did I mention that there are coordinating stamps that work with the doll dies? Stamps for the face, ears, hands and even some that you can use for tattoos or to decorate your project.
There are even some clothing templates too! I think these are so cool, the options are endless.
Kim also designed several hairstyles too. The face stamps are all grouped together so that you stamp a full face with perfect proportions in one stamping, no more getting the eyes too high or mouth too low, Kim has literally taken all of the hard work out of it for us so that we can spend more time being creative.
I hope that you are as excited as me about the new release. Please pop back tomorrow for another day of introductions and then on Saturday for the full release.
Your doll is awesome. Love the papers and this release. Hugz
