Welcome to a new episode of 3 ways with. Before we start I just wanted to share a little something with you....
This is my 500th Blog post!!!
As always I have 3 projects to share, below you will fins the details of how each project was made with more pictures and links to products used, So lets jump in and get started.
The Dare to Dream stamp set has 6 patterned stamps, 3 pairs which can be layered up to create stunning Moroccan effect tiles, however I will be using just one stamp on each card, at a later date I will share projects with layered stamping.
In my first project I used one stamp and stamped the whole background, I chose a diagonal orientation for my background and heat embossed it using the Translucent pearl embossing powder.
I then chose 6 inks to create a blended background in rainbow order, the embossing powder acts as a resit and keeps the colour underneath from getting inked.
I added my sentiments from the dare to dream set, heat embossed in White onto black card and popped them onto my card using foam tape.
For my second project I wanted to create patterned letters to add to a black card. (Have you noticed how I keep my colour palette the same through all of my cards?)
I started my half inking my stamp in red and then inking the other half in orange, then repeated this with yellow and green and then blue and purple. As the die I used were bigger than stamped image I repeated the stamping below to create abigger area to cut from.
I then used the Bold Alpha dies to cut the word love, They look so cute. I added them to my card using foam tape, I also stamped the words "just the way you are" onto a white rectangle and added this below the word love.
I placed my black card panel onto a white card base and embelished with some Nuvo drops form Tonic studios. I love how the bright colours stand ot from the vlack background and add so much fun to the card.
For my final project I decided to create a tiled bakground using rainbow colours and just one of the stamps. I started in the middle of my card and stamped in ruby red. I then stampe out from there in all the shades of the rainbow.
Allowing the pattern to go off the edge of the card make it look as though I used patterened paper and gives a really good effect. I added the sentiment usign white embossing powder on black card stock.
