After colouring the image I noticed that my outline wasn't very sharp, I tried to re-stamp the image over the top but I had removed the stamp from my Misti and when I tried to align it, I was off and ended up with a double line...At this point I gave myself a good telling off and thought about throwing it away and starting again. Instead I reached for my Fine liner pens and used them to bridge the gap between the double stamped outlines. This resulted in a thicker line.
To add a background I used a blue marker to add a halo and then bled it out with a blender pen. I then used an inkpad in the same colour as the marker to ink blend and add inky splatters. I then stamped the sentiment in black, voilĂ the card was finished. Do you think I saved it? Or should I have thrown it away and started again?

ReplyDeleteGorgeous card. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI definitely think you saved it. I didn't notice anything amiss at first glance, and I still don't notice anything amiss even after reading your post and looking more carefully at the card. Good save! That was smart thinking. I'm not sure it would have worked on a smaller or fussier image, but with these big, bold daisies, it was exactly the right move.
