Altenew 8th Anniversary Blog Hop Day 5 + Giveaway (over $2,000 in Total Prizes)

As it's Altenew's birthday I thought a celebration card was fitting. Here I used the Golden Days Hot Foil Plate and gold foil on 300gsm cardstock. I use a Crafters Companion Foilpress machine and for a Hot Foil plate of this size I heat for 45 seconds on low when using Foilpress Foil.

While my Foilpress was out and ready to go I used the Sentiment Banners Hot Foil Plate to foil onto white card and then used the Sentiment Banners Cover Die to cut them.

To add colour to the foiled flower I used the Golden Days Simple Coloring Stencil Set. Believe it or not I only used one ink pad to add color, I used the Pastel Sunrise crisp dye ink, on each layer blending with a brush. I added stamped sentiments to the banners using the Sentiment Banners 2 Stamp Set.

The sentiments were adhered using foam tape and then I added a few Satin White Sequins to embellish the card.
