Altenew All Things Handmade Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)

Welcome to the All Things Handmade Collection blog hop and giveaway. You should have arrived here from Amy Hill, if not you can go back to the start of the hop by visiting the Altenew Card Blog or alternatively navigate via the links at the end of this post.

My first card features the Grown with love stamp set, I started by stamping the image onto Neenah solar crest card with Alcohol proof ink and then cutting a mask to cover the image. I used the  Cloud Scene Stencil and some light blue ink to blend a sky, leaving a little space at the bottom to act as the floor. Once I removed the mask I used my Altenew Woodless Coloring Pencils to color the images and a little Zest-it to help blend the colors.

As soon as I saw the Quaint Blossoms stamp set I fell in love, I adore the large open floral image which allows for easy coloring. I chose to use my Altenew Artist Markers in bright summery colors. I'm really in need of some sunshine,, the cold weather here in the UK is taking it's toll on me.

Next up is the Tied with love stamp set. I used the heart image to stamp a background panel. I then torn a piece of black card and added it to the left of the card.I stamped the tied twine and long lengths on to black card and used Crisp White Embossing Powder to heat emboss them. I then cut them using the  Tied with love die set . Finlay I added a heat embossed sentiment from the set.

My next card features the new Alcohol Inks 6x6 Backgrounds paper pad.  This pad is so much fun and perfect for those who would like the look of an Alcohol ink background with out having to take the time to make it themselves. I used the You Are Everything stamp set and Crisp White Embossing Powder to add the text to the card, as he surface of the paper is slick I used a stamping platform to ensure that everything stayed aligned.

I wanted to try something a little different with the You Are Everything stamp set this time, I ink blended a background and then heat embossed the text in the same way I did in the previous card. I then used the Dotted Tile Debossing Cover die to add detail to the card. I think if I was going to do this again, I would use darker ink colors to that the sentiment stands out more.

Your next stop on the hop is LauraJane.
