Altenew NEW Year-End Celebration Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)

This release sees 8 new die sets added to the Altenew Store, there's a really great mix of sentiments, tags, layering dies, frames and focal images.You can shop the new release here. I have four cards to share with you, lets take a look...

My first card features three of the new sets. I used the new Mini Rolled Roses Die Set to create the floral cluster which I sat against a die cut label from the Nesting Slim Labels die set. I added a sentiment using the Fancy Yay Die which I cut twice and adhered with a tiny drop shadow.

My second card uses the Mega Stamps Frame dies, I coloured it to have an old feel to it by adding more colour in some areas. I added flowers using the Lovely Daises Die Set, these flowers are huge and really make a statement on a card. The sentiment is from the Mega Stamp Frames die set.

Next up is the Gold Band Lily Die Set,this set is stunning. The flowers you make from it are a really good size and look or realistic. I cut from Neenah Solar crest which I backed with double sided adhesive sheets, this allowed me to quickly colour with Altenew's Artist markers and peel and stick the layers together.

My final card uses the Celebrate With Cake Die Set. This is a fantastic set! Not only do you get the cake with decorations but you get a whole set on numbers too. The cake can be decorated in several ways. I chose to use the die which creates the filling and coloured it to look like jam/jelly. I cut a few of the hearts from the set to add around the cake.
