Welcome to the December Craft Your Life Project Kit release and blog hop. You should have arrived here from Jenny Colacicco, if not you can go back to the start of the hop at anytime by visiting the Altenew Card Blog.
This month we are introducing the Vintage Tapestry kit to the CYL family. This kit contains a beautiful 3-dimensional embossing folder, a 6x8 layering stamp set, a 4-piece layering stencil set, and a matching die set to cut all the pieces from the stamp set and the layering stencil set.
The stamp set features the classic layering concept we first introduced with our Vintage Roses Stamp Set. You will find that there are no outline images, but once you layer up the images you will get a beautiful flower and leaf in the classic vintage print style. Discover a rose (B1-B3), a daisy bush flower (A1-A6), 2 smaller flowers (E and G), and a set of leaves (C, D, and F). We know you will LOVE layering with these stamps!
The layering stencil set features two beautiful layering baroque swirl images that can be used alone or connected (Stencils 1 and 2). In addition, there are four layering floral buds and branches of varous sizes in the same style as the coordinating stamp set (Stencils 3 and 4). And finally, Stencil 4 also has the base coloring layer for the rose from the stamp set.
The CYL Vintage Tapestry kit is available as a one time purchase in store now , Craft Your Life Project Kits as available as a monthly subscription, I will share more details further later in this post.
Here's the card I created for the release. I used the flowers and leaves stamped in vintage tones. I adhered them to my card using foam tape to create a floral cluster. I added lots of inky splatters in the background and added 3 sentiments which I stamped and die cut using the Circled Sentiments stamp and die set Your next stop on the hop is Rebecca Sogn, before you go please take a moment to check out the subscription and giveaway information below.
The Craft Your Life Project Kits are available as a monthly subscription plan, which you can sigh up to here CYL Subscription sign up. Each month we release a new Craft Your Life Project Kit Design. The monthly subscription means that we will send you the newly released Craft Your Life Project Kit without you having to go to our website to order it each month.
