Today we are celebrating the release of the Paint-A-Flower Himalayan Poppy , as well as several other new products. I am so excited to share my project and thoughts with you, before we jump in lets just check, you should have arrived here from Sandhya Iyer if not you cna go back to the start of the hop at any times by visiting Altenew Card Blog
I stamped my Paint-A-Flower Himalayan Poppy onto some watercolor card and used the new Hawaiian Shores Brush & Fine Tip Pens. These pens are water based so allow you to try out several techniques. Here I used a wet brush to pull out the colour and add a wash around the stamped image.
We are also launching the Woodless Coloring Pencils. These pencils are blendable, you can use som many different mediums to blend them and give different effects, I will be sharing lots of information on my social media channels over the new few days.
Here's a look at a card I made using the pencil, I used Baby Oil and a Paper Stump to blend the color.
I tried them out on a stamped image to highlight the different depths of shade pencil to pencil. Each petal has one half fully colored and the other blended using a paper stump.
Here's another swatch of the different pencils.
This is a sneek peak at a work in progress, I'm trying to see how it looks if you add color over the monochrome shading pencil and vise versa.
Also released today is the Masking Fluid, I haven't had a chance to play with mine yet but I will share my results when I do. Your next stop is Seeka
