I can not even begin to tell you have excited I am to be joining Altenew for the release of their first Hot Foil Plates. The new release is in store now Purchase here.

I have created five cards to share with you using the new release, lets take a closer look.

Let me introduce you to the Gilded Rose Hot Foil Plate and Gilded Rose Layering Stencil Set. This is a huge Foiling plate, here I foiled onto 300gsm card with gold foil and used the layering stencil to add ink.

The sentiment are foiled onto banners using the Sentiment Banners Hot Foil Plate and coordinating Sentiment Banners Cover Die. I stamped the sentiment using the Sentiment Strips 2 stamp set and added all the elements to a background created using the new Dotty Circles 3D embossing folder.

Next up is the Sunburst Doily Hot Foil Plate, this set has both the hot foil plate and die. I foiled using gold onto white card and used the coordinating die to cut it. I then added the sentiment using the Sentiment Banners Hot Foil Plate, Sentiment Banners Cover Die and Sentiment Strips 2 stamp set.

The background was created by adding embossing ink the raised areas of the Dotty Circles 3D embossing folder before running it through my die cut machine. I then sprinkled with Rose Gold Embossing Powder and heat set.

I also created a second card using the Gilded Rose Hot Foil Plate. This time I used copper foil onto Brown card. I added a sentiment using the Fancy Kisses die.

Now we have something very special, a stamp, die and foiling bundle. I started by foiling the Sparkle Bright Hot foil Plate onto white card and then stamping the image using the Sparkle Bright Stamp Set. and then cut with the Sparkle Bright die set. Having a 3 piece bundle gives so many options, it's fantastic.

My last card uses what would be the waste from my earlier card using the Sunburst Doily Hot Foil Plate. To use the waste/negative foil you will need a blank foil plate or full metal plate.

The sentiment is again using the Sentiment Banners Hot Foil Plate and Sentiment Banners Cover Die. This time the background uses the Dotty Circles 3D embossing folder which when embossed I swiped with gold ink.
