Welcome to the Craft-A-Flower Primrose Blossom release and blog hop. You should have arrived here from Bridget Casey, if not you can go back to the start of the hop by visiting the Altenew Card Blog.
The Craft-A-Flower Primrose Blossom is available in store to purchase now
I cut the Primrose Blossom using Altenew's Gradient Cardstocks in Red Cosmos, Rose Petal,Summer Afternoon and Green Meadows. I find it helpful to add Double Sided Adhesive Sheets to the reverse of the cardstock before cutting, not only does this seem to help with cutting detailed dies but means I can peel and layer a flower in no time at all.
To create the background I used the Dreamy Tiles embossing folder, before running the card and folder through my die cut machine I added some Cotton Candy ink to the raised areas of the folder, this then creates a debossed letter press effect. I added a black strip of card and then placed the Primrose Blossoms over this, it acts like an anchor, grounding the flowers that otherwise would be floating. Lastly I added the sentiment which I die cut from black card.
Your next stop is Dana Joy, before you go please take a moment to check out the giveaway and subscription details.
The Craft-A-Flower is available as a monthly subscription plan, meaning you will receive the newest set before it even hits the Altenew Store, making sure you have secured it every month with no risk of it going out of stock.
