Welcome to the April Build-A-Flower Release Blog Hop and Giveaway, you should have arrived here from Nicole Watt, if not you can return to the Altenew Card Blog at any time or use the links at the end of this post to navigate your way around the hop.
Let me introduce you to the BAF Coneflower; Extend a hand in gratitude and friendship with this delightful floral layering set.
This stamp set features two beautiful layering coneflowers. For ease of use, we have included two coloring layers for each part of the flower: the flower center, petals and leaves, and stem. The larger flower has three color layers for the petals.
The Build-A-Flower: Coneflower special edition stamp and die set is only sold as a bundle. It includes one 6" x 8" clear photopolymer stamp set (24 individual stamp images) and one coordinating die set (2 dies).
I have created 3 cards with the BAF Coneflower, so let's jump in and take a look.
My first card features both of the BAF Coneflowers, I sat them against a background created with a Gelli Plate, Altenew's crisp dye inks and the Hand Drawn Tile Stencil. I added a sentiment from the Essential Sentiment Strips dies.
My next card features 2 of the Coneflowers sat against an embossed panel, I used the Simple Frame Embossing Folder. I added a light orange ink to the detail and then fussy cut it. I placed this against a green panel that I debossed with the Dotted Swirls Debossing Cover Die,
My final card uses the Mod Squares Embossing folder to create a distressed background. I embossed it from a green card that has a white core, I then slightly sanded it to reveal white areas. I added a black frame using the Fine frames rectangle.
Your next stop on the hop is Amber Rain Davis, before you leave, why not check out the special offers and prize information below.
