Altenew Twinkle & Shine Stamps/Dies/Stencils/Embossing Folders Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Welcome to the Altenew Twinkle and Shine blog hop, you should have arrived here from Nicole Watt if not don't worry you can go back to the start of the hop at any time here Altenew Card Blog

This release is jam packed full of crafty goodies, stamps, dies, embossing folders, stencil/masks, fine liners and decals. You can shop the new release here Twinkle and Shine release

My first two cards feature the Firefighter Heros Stamp and Firefighter Heros Die set. This stamp set is great for showing our appreciation to all the brave men and women who risk their lives.  Maybe you have a firefighter in your life, if so the images would be ideal to add to their birthday card.

My next two cards feature the Mandala Maker stamp and Mandala Confetti die set, these two items can be used together or alone. I used both to create some awesome Mandala and patterns on my cards.

In this first card I used the stamp set to add tiny dots in a pale grey ink to help me position the first ring of die cut circles, from there I just eyeballed the spacing for the next placements. I chose to have a circle aperture in the centre of the card and beneath added some of the Pink Watercolor Washi Tape. I added a sentiment using the Bold greetings die set.

For this second card I used the stamp set to add concentric circles of dots to act as a guide for the placement of the die cut pieces. I added a sentiment using the Halftone circles stamp and Halftone circles die set. This is such a fun creative set that allows you to create endless patterns on your projects.

This card is actually my favourite that I've made for this release. I started by adding a piece of the Peachy tiles washi tape to my card base. I then stamped and coloured the main image using the Eucalyptus Jar stamp and Eucalyptus jar die set

The next two cards feature the Pen Sketched Silhouette stamp set. Silhouette stamp sets are a really versatile sets to have in your crafty arsenal. I will be featuring more Silhouette based projects soon.

For this first card I chose the leafy image from the Pen sketched silhouette stamp set and used gilding flakes and glue to create a background. I die cut an aperture using the Fine frame diamond die set  and added a sentiment from the Better together 2 stamp set/

For the second silhouette card I inked a background using the Golden Sunset mini ink cubes, I spritzed it with water to give a soft look and once dry added the focal image stamped using Obsidian black ink.

Next up we have a card created with the Sparkled stamp set.  I stamped the images several times on the card using masking to allow a full background. I then added a sentiment onto black card cut from the  Nesting frames die set, the sentiment is from Better together 2 stamp set.

My next card uses three of the new stamp sets, I used the Striped circles stamp set for my background, stamped in shade of turquoise. I stamped and fussy cut the flowers using the Pen sketched silhouette stamp set and added a white heat embossed sentiment to a turquoise die cut circle using the Eucalyptus Jar stamp set

This next card is again stamped using the Eucalyptus Jar stamp set, I think teal/turquoise is my favourite color as I keep going back to it lol

The eagle eyed among you may have noticed a spelling error in the sentiment above, please be assured that all of the Eucalyptus Jar stamp sets that are order from Altenew and retailers will have the correct spelling in, this was rectified in time to go ahead with the release.

Recently Altenew added embossing folders to their line of products (I am so happy about this) now they aren't just standard embossing folders, these give you multi level embossing for a really eye catching project.

My first card uses the newly released Geo Step 3D embossing folder, I inked the embossed panel in light blue and added it to a card base covered with the Pink Watercolor washi. I then die cut the word "HEY" from some card which was also covered in the Washi and added a white heat embossed sentiment from the Sentiment strip stamp set.

My final card again uses the Geo Step embossing folder, this time I inked it in a deep yellow tone and cut into it to create a shaped strip across the card. I added a flower and leaves from the Sparkled stamp set.

  16. What beautiful, incredible cards! I too love that eucalyptus card with the pink washi tape. The colors are so pretty, arrangement so perfect. The pen sketched stamp set is lovely and your card really highlighted how pretty the flowers are. And I love your layered/masked sparkled flowers- it would take way too long to paint or draw inside the outlined flower. Hurray for layered stamps.
