This release consists of 10 new dies/die sets, you can view all of the new products on the Altenew store in the new products section Here. As soon as I saw the new dies I had the idea to create cards in two very different styles, showing just how versatile they are.  Firstly we will look at the fun colorful cards before moving on to the elagant black and gold cards, so lets jump right in.

In my first example I have used 3 of the new dies, the Layered Geo A cover die, Layered Geo B cover die and the Featured sentiments die set. The Layered Geo A+B panels were spritzed with Warm sunshine and Puffy Heart metallic ink sparys, I love the effect. The featured sentiments dies are awesome as you have 2 dies in each sizing option, they can layer or be used alone. I added a few enamel dots to complete the card.

My second card features the mini 3D stars die set, they come in 3 sizes and work in the same way as the original 3D star die. Here I cut several from card which I coloured using Warm Sunshine, Puffy Heart and Ocean waves metallic ink sprays, I added a sentiment using the Circled Hello die. A few inky splatters and the card was complete.

This next card is one of my favourite cards for this release, it's bright, modern and fun. I started by colouring and cutting the Stacked diamonds cover plate die, I opted for Ocean waves metallic ink spray this time. I the cut the Leaf mix dies from card I previously coloured with the ink sprays. The leaf mix set is so fu and creative, the 14 dies included allow you to mix and match, layering the die cut pieces to suit your chosen style.

Next up is the Tangeled loops cover die, I colored 2 pieces of card, one using Rubelite and the second using Aqualicious. I then cut again from thick white card and started to paper piece the coloured bits in to create a background. My sentiment is cut using the Fine alpahbet dies, it sits on a mat created with the waste sectin of the Layered Geo A cover die.

My final sample in the "coloured" section is a shaker frame using the Thin frame die set. This is a brand new concept die that creates a thin frame to go around your projects, it is approx 5mm deep depending on the weight of your card stock. All you need to do is cut four sections, you can use 2 of the big and 2 of the small or can use 4 of just one size if you want a square frame like I used here.  I actually cut 2 frames, sandwhiching a piece of acetate between them so I could add sequins and gems.

Now we move on to the elegant black and gold cards, these are so divine, I love them.

Here I layered 2 of the Tangeled Loops cover die cuts, turing one of them 180͑° , this gives a really cool effect and gives even more ways to use your dies.

Next up is the layered Geo A and B cover dies, cut in black and gold. I added a sentiment using the Fancy Hello die and added a few gold sequins. Simple, classic and so pretty.

Next I used the Leaf Mix dies to create a floral bloom, in kind of looks like a water lily in my mind. I heat embossed my sentimets in gold on to the Featured sentiments die cut using the sentiment strips 2 stamp set

Here I combined the Thin Frame die set and the Mini 3D stars, I stamped the sentment from the Stone Mosiac stamp set, I added a few gold ink spaltters and the card was complete.

My final card uses the Stacked diamonds cover die, I cut in from both black and gold turing one layer 180°. I then heat embossed and die cut the Fabulous Florets set from Vellum, which give a soft feminie feel to the card. I added a seniment using the Bold Greetings die set.
