Welcome to Altenew's Serenity release, you should have arrived here from the amazing Virgninia Lu's blog, If not you can go back to the start of the hop at any time by visiting the Altenew Card blog.
Today Altenew have added lots of new items to the store including stencils, decals, enamel dots and a new product; Creative cutouts. You can view all of the newly released products here Serenity Release
I used one of the Creative Cutouts: Nested Wreath to create a scrapbook page. The nested wreaths come in 3 sizes (all in the same pack) I also use the new Warm and Cosy Enamel Dots and Tropical Forest Enamel Dots. I coloured the wreath using Watercolor Brush Markers. The sentiment was cut using Tall Alpha Dies. I added some journalling on to one of the Terrfic Tags dies
Next up is the Cloud Scene Stencil, I love a cloudy backdrop and this stencil is awesome. I added a cute fox from the Hug Me stamp set which I die cut using the Matching die set. He was coloured using Artist Markers and embellished with Warm and Cosy Enamel Dots.
For this card I used the new Feathery Stencil. I cut a mask using the Nesting Frame dies, applied it to my card using tempory adhesive. I placed the stnecil over the top and inked, once the mask is removed it leaves a really cool effect. I added a sentiment using the Fancy Hello die
I made another card using the Feathery Stencil, this one was super quick. I inked though the stencil and then torn a strip which I added to my card base. The sentiment is from the Signature Word dies. I added some of Shades of Purple Enamel Dots to complete the look.
This card was a little labour of love. I used the Geometric Landscape Stencil and masked so that I could add colour to each segment, one at a time. I added the Mega Hello die cut and a few enamel dots.
My second card using the Geometric Landscape Stencil utelizes the Tartan stamp set. I stamped the grid and then placed the stnecil over my card, securing it with low tack tape. I then used the square stamp from the Tartan set to stamp through the stencil adding pattern to each section. The sentiment is from the Bold Greetings Die set.
I decided to go with a mixed media card using the new The Alphabet Stencil. I inked a background and then added clear texture gell through the stencil. Once dry I added some blended white pigment ink and black ink splats. I then added the sentiment using Mega Label Love stamp set and embellished with the Warm and Cosy Enamel Dots.
I love a Trellis pattern and Altenew's Trellis Stencil is perfect for adding pattern or texture to your projetcs. I added some texture paste through the stencil and once dry added some ink blending. My focal image come from the Precious Peony stamp set.
My final card also uses the Trellis Stencil, this time I dry embossed the stencil using an embossing mat and my die cutting machine. I then added lots of teal ink spray, I like how it looks darker in the debossed areas. A piece of torn vellum, the Fancy for you die cut sentiment and a few little enemel hearts were all that was needed to pull this card together.
There you have it, 10 projects using today's release. Your next stop on the hop is Audrey Yeager
