Altenew September 2019 Stamp/Die/Stencil Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Welcome to the Altenew September release blog hop, You should have arrived here from Svitlana Shayevich's blog, if not don't panic you can return to the start of the hop at any time by clicking here September-2019-Release-Blog-Hop

I am so excited to be part of this release and truly belive that Altenew have knocked it out the park and included something for everyone in this release. Below is a glimps of all the new products, you can see them in the Altenew store here September release product page

I have created 8 cards from this release, so lets jump in and see these awesome products and what you can create with them.

For my first card I have used the Candy Cane Cover die, I cut it twice, once from Kraft card and once from Mustard card. I flipped and rotated the Mustard card and adhered it to the back of th Kraft card, this gives the impression of plaid.  I added a sentiment from the Festive Silhouettes stamp set whic I heat embossed using Altenew's Embossing ink and White embossing powder. I love the clean modern feel of this card.

My next card has a real retro vibe. I used the Circle quilt cover die, cut once in white and once in pink, once adhered with a slight drop shadow on a black background they really pop. I used the It's for you stamp set and It's for you die set to stamp and cut the telephone, I used Obsidian Black,
Pinkalicious and Rubellite ink. I am still in awe of how awesome this telephone stamp is, the layerd effect gives it so much personality.

This card uses the Circle Quilt cover die and a double ombre technique. I used Mountain Mist
Volcano Lake and Lagoon ink to create a ombre background on which I laid the die cut panel. To colour the panel  used MochaRocky Shore and Sand Dunes, I then die cut it using the Circle Quilt cover die. I adhered the die cut panel with the darkest area on top f the lightest colour of the background. I then added the sentiment using the Hang in there die

This card is one of my faviorite, I used the Festive Foilage stamp set and Festive Foliage die set along with Golden peach embossing powderAntique Silver embossing powder and Rose Gold embossing powder to create my focal piece. I adde the die cut tree onto a background created with the Candy Cane cover die. I really like the striking tree against the white stripy background, it's ultra modern yet elgeant.

For my second card using the Festive Foliage stamp and  die set I choose to go with a girly vibe. Hot pink and black awith acents of light green. I used Minty MintSweet LeafFuchsia and Baby Pink to stamp the tree, I then stamped the sentiments in Obsidian Black ink and added a few Enamel Dots from the New day card kit. Such a fun card.

So this card used 15 ink colours (I know, crazy) I took the  It's for you stamp set and sstamped 5 coloured telephones using Coral Bliss, Heart beat and Vineyard Berry (Red phone) , Chamomile, Snapdragon and Marigold (Orange phone), Aqualicious, Teal Cave and Galactic Stream (Blue phone), Citrus Burst, Fresh Lemon and Maple Yellow (yellow phone) and
Lavender Fields, Deep Iris and Midnight Violet (purple phone). I then added the sentiment using the Tall Alpha die set. It took a little while to get all those layers done but it was so worth it.

This card uses the Tall Alpha die set in a very simplistic way but sometimes the simplest cards are the best. I cut the Star Flower Pop up dies into some white card, I then inked some card using Galactic Stream ink, I used this as a base to put the die cut panel onto and kept enough aside to cut the sentiment from. To tie the top panel and base together I added some inky splatters.

My final card features the Candy Cane cover die and Tall Alpha dies. I cut the cover die in white and adhered it to some red cardstock. I then cut my sentiment from white card, I used an Evergreen Artist Marker to colour the letters. To make the sentiment pop I added a piece of vellum between to difuse the background. I added a few christmas sequins and the card as done.

I will be sharing more photos of my cards on Instagram over the next few days, so keep our eyes peeled. Now onto prize and promotions details.
