Waffle Flower - It's A Boy card

 Hi, Terri here! Today I am sharing a new baby card using Waffle Flower products.

I started by die cutting the Postage Collage A2 Die from 110lb super smooth white cardstock. I then used the Postage Collage Baby Stencil to add cute little scenes in shades of blue. I added a little yellow for the Stalks beak and stars before adding white gel pen highlights.

I added a panel of light grey card to an A2 white card base, and then added the postage collage on top, using foam pads. To create the sentiment I used the Baby Announcement Sentiment stamp and die combo I stamped in blue ink and the die cut using the coordinating die. I added this to the card using foam tape.

I thought the card was lacking something, so I decided to add a Monkey teddy from the  Postage Collage Baby Icons I kept the colouring of the monkey simple, using light brown, blue and yellow.

I am so pleased with how this card turned out, it's super cute and I have a recipient in mind too.

Hello, Terri here! Today I am sharing a vintage inspired gardening card, using Waffle Flower Crafts products.

I started by cutting a piece of Plaid paper from the Favourite Flannel Fall 6x6 paper pad to measure 4" by 5.25". I added some brown ink blending to give an aged look, I then used the edge of my scissors to distress the edges by scrapping at the paper. I also added a small tear in the top right corner. I adhered this to an A2 white note card.

To create the seed packets I die cut the Postage Collage Seeds Details Die into some white cardstock. I added the colouring using the Postage Collage Seeds Details Stencil. I tried to keep the ink blending light and slightly patchy to give a vintage feel.

I added the details to the images with the Postage Collage Seed Details Stamp and Die Combo. I then trimmed the seed packets with a paper trimmer. I added the seed packets to my card base using a combination of wet glue and foam pads.

I stamped a sentiment from the Green Thumb Sentiments Stamp and Die combo in brown ink on to white card and die cut it with the coordinating die. I added this with foam pads over the seed packets. I then decided to add some more fun with the die cut veggies using the Seed Packet Icons die set. I cut then from white card and added ink blending before strategically placing them onto my card.
