Peonies, tulips, gingerbread cookies, and more! This collection of products is just the thing to help you beat the seasonal blues. You are sure to find inspiration with these lovelies as you get creative in your craft space.
I have two very different card to share with you today, they are worlds apart in terms of color, I hope you like them.
This first card features the Build-A-Garden Pristine Peonies. These Peonies are huge! I stamped then on to Neenah Solar crest 80lb cardstock using Obsidian Ink. I then used the coordinating simple colouring stencils to add ink blended details. I kept the blending soft, using the following colors; Misty Moor, Marshland, Blush and Pastel Sunrise.
I cut the image using the dies included int he Build-A-Garden Pristine Peonies set. I adhered them to an A2 note card, trimming off any excess and sliding it in to empty spaces to fill the card front. I then added a stamped and heat embossed sentiment and some black enamel dots.
I'm loving how soft and light this design feels even with the black elements that give a more modern style.
I used; Baby Pink, Fuchsia, Citrus Burst, Fresh Lemon, Lagoon and Lime Crisp Dye Ink Pads, along with mini blending brushes. I cut all of the images using the coordinating dies and adhered them to a Navy Blue card base using foam pads. I die cut the word Hugs from card that I ink blended using the Fresh lemon Ink Pad.
This card is vivid and modern in style, I hope you like it as much as I do.
