Altenew May 2022 Dreams Come True Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)

Welcome to the May 2002 Dreams Come True Collection Release Blog hop and Giveaway. You should have arrived here from Vicky Papaioannou, if not you can go back to the start of the hop by visiting the Altenew Blog

The new release is live in store right now New release collection page. I have made six cards using the new release, let's take a closer look...

My first card features the All Things A simple coloring stencil, this stencil has been designed to coordinate with the All Things A Stamp Set and All Things A die set.

I stamped the A and used the simple coloring stencil and some mini blending brushes to add colour. I then cut it using the coordinating die. I added the die cut panel onto a piece of black card and placed the A offset using foam tape. I added this to a card covered with some patterned paper. I then stamped a sentiment form the All Things A stamp set.

Next up is the Always Be Kind Stamp set and Always Be Kind simple coloring stencil. Here I simple stamped and ink blended but I could have used the previously released Coordinating die set
to cut the sentiment, I felt that I wanted a simple one layer card but I like the option to be able to add the die cut.

I absolutely love the new Educators Rule Stamp Set and Educators Rule Die set. I stamped the pencils down one side, all coming in at various lengths. I then stamped and cut the Apple and the Word Teacher and adhered them using foam tape. This design would be super fun to use for thank you cards at the end of the school year.

The Hello Friend Stamp set and Hello Friend Die set is a really fun set. I stamped the words in different colors and cut them with the coordinating die. I sat them against a background which I prepared using the Reflections Web Cover die cut in white, against a turquoise card base. I love the extra little hearts in the set, I used a few of them to embellish the design.

Next up is the Poppy Arrangement Stencil set, this stencil set does have a coordinating stamp set but I don't have it. So, to create my card I used the stencil set to create the floral cluster, I then used a fine liner pen to add sketched details for the outline, using the image on the packaging to help me get things looking as accurate as possible.

My final card uses the Whispy Joy Stamp set and Whispy Joy Die set. I stamped and die cut the images and then sat them against a background which I created using the Moroccan Lattice Cover die cut in white and adhered to an A2 white note card.
