Altenew Vintage Galore Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)

Welcome to the January Vintage Galore collection release from Altenew, you should have arrived here from LauraJane, if not you can go back to the start of the hop by visiting the Altenew Blog.

This release is full of stamps, dies, Hot foil plates, stencils and Gel Pens!!! I have created 5 cards, lets take a closer look...

My first card features the Wedding Promises Stamp Set, I heat embossed in gold and added the stamp layers. I fussy cut the cake and added it to a panel which was prepared using the Gold Foil Pinstripe Washi and Gold Foil Winter Roses Washi Tape.  I added a heat embossed sentiment and a few sequins to finish the look.

Next up is a huge foiling die, the Golden Days Hot Foil Plate !  I foiled it with silver foil onto smooth white card and then added colour using the 4 in 1 Simple Colouring Stencil. I cut the Tiny Sentiments: Hello die three times from black card and sandwiched them together. I added detail to the card base using the new Dotted Tile Debossing Cover Die before adhering the other elements.

My next card uses the Folk Flowers Layering stencil, this stencil also has a die and detail stamp set but I didn't use those today. I added yellow, green and purple with a blending brush, I then placed the stencil for the leaves back in place and added a spritz of Iridescent spray ink . I cut the sentiment using the Be Kind Die Set and added it with foam tape.

The Dotted Teardrops Stamp Set is a really fun set to use to create patterns for your backgrounds, here I used it with pink, lilac and teal ink. I added flowers using the BAF Indian Lotus Set and then stamped and heat embossed a sentiment on to a piece of teal card.

My final card uses the Cube Builder Hot Foil Plate, I love that Altenew has designed this to work with the Cube Builder Stencil.  I started by foiling the Cube Builder Hot Foil plate with a brushed silver foil and then used the matching stencil to add blue tones. I created the sentiment using the Way To Go Die Set.
