Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Orion Geranium Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($200 in total prizes)

Welcome to the January Craft-A-Flower release blog hop and giveaway, You should have arrived here from Virginia Lu, if not you can go back to the start of the hop by visiting the Altenew Card Blog. This month's flower is the Orion Geranium.

The Craft-A-Flower is available as a monthly subscriptionWhen signed up, you are guaranteed a spot in our monthly Craft-A-Flower releases and will receive a set each month - at a specially discounted price! ($35.99 →$29.99)

To create my card I started by adding some Double Sided Adhesive sheets to the back of some Neenah Solar crest card. I then placed all of the dies from the set and ran it through my die cut machine. I then used my Altenew Artist markers to colour the layers, I used the Sunshine Valley set.

I then layered all of the elements, which is really quick as I created sticky backed pieces. I prepared the card base using a strip of paper from the Essential Black and White Paper Pack, I adhered it to the left side of the card and then placed the flowers and leaves.

For the sentiment I used the Tiny Sentiments: Hello stamp and Tiny Sentiments: Hello die. I cut the die twice form black and white card, adhering them together with a shadow effect.

I love the bright colours of the floral pieces with the stark black contrast. Your next stop is Penny Pynnonen.
