Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Sweet Violet Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello and welcome to the November Craft-A-Flower release blog hop and giveaway, you should have arrived here from Seeka, if not you can go back to the start of the hop at anytime by visiting the Altenew Card Blog, where you will see another card from me.

The Craft-A-Flower Sweet Violet is a stunning layering die set, allowing you to create a large flower head, small bud and two leaf styles. When combined with Altenew's Gradient Cardstock sets these flowers can be put together in no time at all, but don't let that stop you from using ink blending, alcohol markers or any other medium to color your die cuts.

Todays card makes me so happy, I've had this background sat in my bits box for an age! So being able to use it has put a big smile on my face, hence the sentiment,lol. As you will probably remember whenever I use layered dies I like to use Altenew's Double Sided Adhesive Sheets on the reverse of my chosen cardstock, there are two reasons for this, fristly it allows me to adhere all of the layers quickly and secondly, it actually helps when cuttting fiddly/details areas (don't ask me how, it just does)

For this card I used the following Gradient Cardstock packs, New Purple for the flowers and Green Meadows for the leaves and stems. I added a sentiment using the Circle Sentimetns stamp and die set. If you are wondering about how I created the background, I added a tacky glue through the Grid Stencil and then added Gilding flakes.

Your next stop is Nathalie DeSousa, but before you go please take a moment to check out the giveaway and subscription information below;
