This release has 7 new embossing folders to allow you to add stunning texture to your products, I have created 12 cards to share with you, lets take a closer look

My first card features the Winter Foliage Slim 3D embossing folder, here I teamed it with the Festive Foliage Stamp set and Die set. I embossed plain white card, ink blended with Lagoon ink and cut the tree out by hand. I used the Festive Foliage set to stamp and cut the heart sentiment which I added with foam tape. How cool and modern does this card look?

My second card using the Winter Foliage Slim 3D embossing folder is alot more refined and elegant. I embossed some green card and added some gold inky splatters. I then used the Festive Foliage Stamp set and Die set to add a focal pint sentiment. A sprinkle of gold sequins finished the look.

Next up is the Classic Pinecones Slim 3D embossing folder.I am so excited that Altenew has released a slimline embossing folder. I know that you can use standard embossing folders for slimline cards but they are a hassle to line up and I always end up with a horrible line that I then have to try to disguise. So thank you Altenew. I embossed some pale beige card and lightly sanded it back to reveal the inner white core. I added my flower using the Dry Brush Poinsettia stamp set and Die set. I am in love with this card.

How about a very elegant black and gold gilding wax sample? Using Classic Pinecones Slim 3D embossing folder I embossed some black card and then used a gold gilding wax to lightly rub over the top.I added a sentiment using the Fancy Peace die.

I love to use a floral embossing folder to give subtle detail in the background, it's great for those of use who can be a little frightened of too much white space, it adds just enough interest without overpowering your card. I embossed the Frilly Peonies 3D embossing folder on white card and added a sentiment using the All About Thanks Word die set. I then added some pink ink splatters. Beautiful.

This time I used the Frilly Peonies 3D embossing folder and some ink blending to highlight the detail. I love how the ink hits those high points and makes then stand out more than the lower areas. I added a simple sentiment using the Sentiment Strips stamp set.

Who doesn't like a geometric embossing folder? Whats better than a geometric embossing folder? One that also retro! I love this folder. I used the Linked Ovals 3D embossing folder on some very thin blue card, this allowed the surface to crack, which adds a distressed feeling. I added my sentiment using the All About You Word dies set and then placed a few stars using the Mini 3D Star set.

Again using the Linked Ovals 3D embossing folder I created a pastel beauty. I embossed two pieces of card and added them to my card base with a white strip across them. I then added the floral elements using the CAF-Dendrobium Orchid. The sentiment was cut from the Essential Sentiment Strips Dies and All About You Word dies set.

Altenew also produces debossing folder too. Here is used the Modern Wishes debossing folder, I swiped it with some ink before running it through my die cut machine, I then cut the sentimentout using a circle die. I added it to a background using the Pink Perfection Camellia 3D embossing folder.

The second card using the Modern Wishes debossing folder has very subtle colour. I swiped the folder with a gold ink pad before running it through the die cut machine, this pushed some ink into the card. I added some vintage red sequins and thread to complement the colour tones.

Next up is the Organic Stones 3D embossing folder, I have never seen so much depth from an embossing folder in my 19 years of crafting, It's amazing. I can't help but keep running my fingers over the surface, it's kinda therapeutic. I added some Tulips using the Cartoon Tulips stamp set and die set

Last up is the Pink Perfection Camellia 3D embossing folder. Here I embossed some Bordeaux cardstock with a swipe of gold ink on the folder. I added a sentiment using the All About Thanks Word die set and some gold thread to embellish.
