Altenew Craft Your Life Project Kit: Lush Garden Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Welcome to the August Craft You Life Project Kit release blog hop and giveaway, you should have arrived here from Laurie Willison, if not you can go back to the start of the hop at any time by visiting the Altenew Card blog or by using the links at the end of this post to navigate.

You can purchase the Lush Garden Project Kit as a one off for $59.99, details below on monthly subscription plan.

This project kit contains the following exclusive products:

- one 6" x 8" clear stamp set containing 24 stamps made in the USA from high-quality photopolymer

- four coordinating dies

- one simple coloring and layering stencil which coordinates with the stamp set

- one 6x6 3D embossing folder

- one simple coloring stencil set (3 stencils) which coordinates with the embossing folder

Note: These products are NOT sold separately.

I have made two cards for the release, let's take a look:

I love that this kit has two different flowers in it and decided to use them both on my first card. I used the stamp layers to colour my images and then die cut them. I added them to a panel which I prepared using a piece of the Painted Dots Washi Tape on black card. I added this to an A2 notecard and took the sentiment from the Seasonal Blooms Project Kit.

This second card uses the 3D embossing folder from the kit, I embossed onto Neenah solar crest cardstock, I then added inks using detailed blending brushes, I wanted a light loose look, if you want a cleaner/sharper look you could use the stencil. I added a sentiment and sequins to finish.

After a few days I decided I wanted to try something different and adapt this card, I used Altenew's Fine Liner Pen's to lightly and loosly outline the embossed images, I tried not to go crisp and straight as I didn't want it to look like a stamped image. I think it really shows how you can add another look to your project with very minimal time and effort.
