Welcome to the July Altenew release blog hop and giveaway. You should have arrive here from
Jaycee Gaspar, if not you can go back to the start of the hop at any time by visiting the
Altenew Card Blog.
This months release is jam packed with crafting goodness, 7 stamp sets, 2 stand alone die sets, a layered stencil, 5 embossing folders and precision tweezers.
You can purchse the new release
here. Let's see what I've created with the products sent to me;
The first product I used was the Adore you add-on stamp and die set. I chose to use it with the original Adore you stamp set. I stamped a few of the original flowers and added some doodles to create a wreath, I then added a flower and leaves from the new add-on set. I stamped a sentiment and a few inky splatters to finish the card.
For my second card I used the Adore You add-on without the original set, I used my artist markers to add colour and detail. I added some Aztec border washi and coral card for the flowers to sit against.
Next I used the Playful Patterns stencil to create a background, I love this new stencil, you can create so many different looks depending on how you choose to layer and which stencil you use/omit. I also used the new I really Miss You stamp and die set, I cut from black and green glitter card. I decided to add a torn strip of the stencilled panel to a background which was debossed with the Dotted Swirls Debossing Cover die.
This card uses the Vintage Vibes stamp set, as soon as I saw it I knew it would be fun to make a rainbow squiggle pattern. I embossed my card using the Window Slats embossing folder. I added my sentiments using the I really Miss You stamp and die set.
My second card using the Vintage Vibes stamp and die set is really fun. I stamped and cut the vintage TV in browns and greys and added it to a card base which was prepared with Fall Harvest Slim Washi.
My final card uses the Vintage Vibes set again, can you tell how much I love this set? This time I used the roller-skate, I chose pinks and blue as it made me think of an old diner,lol I added washi in the background to coordinate, I used the painted grid washi, pink watercolor washi and Sea Shore Slim washi. I also added some Enamel Hearts from the Sea Shore enamel dots set.
