The PAF Clematis is a beautifully illustrate stamp set comprising of the focal image showing a climbing clematis against a trellis. There are also 9 sentiments stamps, the main sentiment "Beautiful" has a lovely handwritten style and then there are 8 add on sentiments allowing you to create a custom sentiment to suit your project.
The Sunshine Valley Artist markers are made up of 3 colour families, Cherry Blossom, Green Valley and Pocketful of Sunshine, there coordinating refills are also available.
The Water Garden Artist Markers comprises of Delectable Delights,Sweet dreams and Enchanted Garden, again the coordinating refills are also available.
I have created 5 cards showing different ways to use the PAF Clematis so that you can achieve different looks, lets take a look at the first card.
My first card is a very simple card, I heat embossed the PAF Clematis using Altenew's Rose Gold embossing powder. I then ink blended the entire background in Razzleberry Ink and added a few water splatters to add interest. I took a damp paint brush and faux bleached detail into the image, this was really quick and easy to do. I basically rubbed the the damp brush in teh areas that I wanted to be lighter and then blotted with a tissue.
The second card uses the PAF Clematis on the lower right hand side of card, I used the Water Garden (Set G) artist markers to add colour, I also blended some Aqualicious ink in the background to tie the look together.
In my third card I wanted to try something a little different, I stamped the image twice, making a fuller panel of flowers, I coloured the images with both the Water Garden (Set G) and the Sunshine Valley (Set F), I then took some 91% rubbing Alcohol and used a pipette to add drops over the colored image. This adds some really cool texture to the image and diffused certain areas. What do you think? Do you like it?
Next I chose to make a slimline card and extend the image vertically, this is another way to stretch the stamp set and achieve multiple looks. Where the two stamped images meet isn't entirely perfect, so this gave me a natural place to add my sentiment. I stamped using Obsidian Ink which allowed me to play with water and pigment powders. I spritzed the panel and sprinkled the pigment powders over the wet surface, when they hit water they activate and create a really cool look.
My final project is an 8x8" stamped and coloured card. I stamped the image four times in the corners allowing the trellis area to cross. I then used both sets of the new markers to add colour and detail. I added a sentiment using the Hang in there die, I cut it 4 times and stacked it together so it pops off the page a little.
Hopefully I've shown you some different ways to use the stamp set that may make you look at your stamps differently.
