Welcome, hopefully you arrived here from Nathalie DeSousa, If not you can go back to the start of the hop at any time bu visiting the Altenew Card Blog.
You can purchase the new items now by visiting the New release section of the Altenew store
As well as all of those awesome products, Altenew is also releasing 12 new ink colors, the Quiet reflections ink Bundle has 12 beautiful colors which will complement the inks you already own, allowing you to create even more beautiful projects. I have 7 cards to share with you today so lets take a look and see how the new products look when inked.
The new Goldfish Pond Stamp set and Goldfish Pond die set are totally stunning, I just had to make a really clean and simple card to start with. The images and sentiments are perfect for those times when you want to send support to a friend or loved one.
After making a CAS card with the set, I wanted to do a tone on tone card. I chose to use green and gold to keep the card very serene. The sentiment is from the Eucalyptus Jar Stamp set.
This next card was created using the Postal Heros stamp and die set. The set recognizes and gives thanks to all that the postal service do for us not only during the Covid pandemic but each and every day. I added some background detail using the Dots and Boxes stamp set
My next card uses the newly released Soar stamp and dies. Here I used the Mountain scene and City scene stencils to create a backdrop for the birds. I think these birds could also be used for sympathy cards too.
Now I'm going to be totally honest with you, this is my all time favourite card I've ever made (or at least for now it is) I started by cutting the Mid Century frame die from white card, I used the negative as my base and lightly inked the card panel behind it. I then used the Tranqillity Rose simple coloring stencil and die set to create the flower and leaves.
Now for a slimline card featuring the You are beautiful stamp set and Simple coloring stencil. I stamped the floral image 3 times on a panel of white card, I then used the simple coloring stencil to add color to the images. I added a stencilled polka dot background and sentiment to finish the card.
My final card once again uses the Postal Heros stamp and die set. The background was embossed using the new Angled Mosaic embossing folder. The texture and dimension that you get from this embossing folder is second to none. I waited a long time for Altenew to bring us embossing folders and I can honestly say they haven't disappointed.
