Altenew Beauty of the Season Stamps/Dies/Stencils/Embossing Folders Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Welcome to Altenew's Beauty of the Season release, you should have arrived here from Amber Rain Davis blog, if not dont worry you can go back to the start of the hop at any time by visiting the Altenew Card Blog.

Todays release is filled with amazing products, you can view them all in the Altenew store.

My first card is created using the Grape Leaves stamp set, this set is really good fro creating backgrounds but can also be used to cretae focal features too. Here I stamped it all over my background in autumnal colours. I added a sentiment from the Crafty Life stamp set and higlighted it by placing a Mid Centuary frame die cut around it.

Next I have 2 cards showcasesing the kind reminders stamp set.The first card is a mixed media style card, I created a background using The Alphabet Stencil and some embossing paste. I spritzed some white card with a couple of Altenew's Metallic spray inks and once dry stampe and die cut the flowers using the coordinating die set.

My second card using the Kind reminders stamp set was coloured using the Kind reminders simple coloring stencil, this stencil is so cool, it allows you to add color and shade in the correct place without any fuss. I die cut the flowers and added them to a card base which I stamped using the Pinstripe stamp set, I love the ultra modern feel to this card.

Next we have the Positive Vibes stamp and matching die set. My first card using this set was created by stamping the floral cluster in orange tones and die cutting it. I added it to a background which was stamp with the Gradient Stripes stamp set.

This second card has an apature that acts like a tunnel, I stamped the image onto my card base using a stamping platform, keeping the stamp in place I stamped it on to a second piece of card, this made sure that they were both in the exact same position.

I die cut the image out and added colour using the Watercolor stripes stencil, I added adhesive foam to the back of the coloured panel and placed it over the top of the stamped card base. The sentiment is stamped onto one of the Featured sentiment die cuts.

Now we have a super cute, fun stamp set, Merry reindeer comprises of one main Image of a reindeer holding a scroll, the set also has a couple of emmbellishment images and 7 sentimetns and a few words to help address tags etc.

I stamped, coloured and die cut the image using the coordingating dies, I then cut a second of the images without actually stamping it, this allowed me to sandwhich a little treat bag between the two pieces. I can image this being used with "reindeer food" inside for younger childern,

The next set I worked with is Holiday Tags stamp and die set. There are 23 stamps and 11 dies, which allow you to create lots of differnet styled tags for your holiday project and presents.

My first tag uses only the die set, I added some pattern to the tag using Aztec Motif Stencil. I stamped the sentiment from Merry reindeer and added an Alpaca using the Alpaca stamp and die bundle.

My second tag is a holday themed tag using the Holiday tags stamp set and die set. I cut and ink blended the tag, then using the Diamond snowflakes stencil added some glitter paste. Using one of the edge dies in the set I cut a little whire banner for my sentimetn to go on and added some holly spring.

I'm a sucker for a 3D die set, espcially when they create stunning flowers in no time at all. Here I used the new Poinsettia 3D die and Altenew's metallic spray inks. I used one of the large die cuts to create the leaves. I added a sentiment using the new Fancy Peace die. The backround was created using the Dotted scales debossing cover die.

My final card was made with the Warm blessings stamp set, the font of this stamp set is beautiful and goes well with several other in Altenew's catalouge. The stamp set has a Holly leaf and two berries which you can use to adron your projects. I used them to stamp a background for my card, I really like the hand drawn feel to them.
