I am extremely excited and honoured to be joining Altenew for their August release, this months release is full of awesome stamps and dies.
The first card I'm sharing was created with the Playful Plumeria stamp set and Playful Plumeria die set. I created a background panel by blending Chamomile, Sunkissed, Sunray and Buttercream ink. I then added detail using the Broken Chevrons stencil and Iridescent ink spray.
I stamped the flowers, leave and branch and die cut them using my Mini Blossom die cutting machine. I adhered all the components and stamped the sentiment using Obsidian black ink,I was worried if the ink would take over the top of the spray but Obsidian literally does it all and never leaves my desk.

Dot Art stamp set is such a cool set, I love the graphic images that can be used to embellish projects or can take centre stage. I wanted to create a fun funky card with bright pops of colour. I used Fresh Lemon, Fuchsia and Aqualicious ink along with Obsidian black. The sentient is form the Simply the Best stamp set
Simply the best stamp set and Simply the best die set I stamped the first two layers of the flower using Desert night and Dusk ink the third layer was stamped and heat embossed onto vellum using Altenew's embossing ink and Antique Silver embossing powder the centre of the flower was stamped in Citrus burst and die cut. I added the die cut flower onto a background cut from the Stripped leaf cover die. My base card is pearliest, so adds a shimmer through the die cut layer. The sentiment was stamped in Dusk ink.
My second card with the Simply the best stamp set is one of my favourite cards for this release.
I started by stamping the three flowers using Baby pink, Fuchsia and Magenta ink. I used the matching die set to cut 3 masks out of sticky notes, I then added the Broken chevrons stencil and Warm Sunshine Metallic ink spray to add the background detail. A few sequins and a sentiment and the card was finished, I love the summer vibe it gives.

Next up is the Pleasant Pansy 3D die set, I love Altenew's 3D die set, they can be used in so many ways. I cut the layers for the flowers from coloured papers. I teamed the flowers with the Frilly Frame die and a sentiment from the Inked Bud stamp set which I stamped in Obsidian Black Ink.
I used the Wonderful Wycinanki stamp set and the following inks, Jet Black, Honey Drizzle, Eastern Sky, Shadow Creek, Azurite and Ultra Marine. I opted for a very traditional colour palette and added black in the mix for a little pop of drama.
Now on to something really special to me. The next cards are made with stamps and dies inspired by Wycinanki - Polish Paper cutting. You may not know that my Husbands parents were both Polish (he was born in England) so I have a strong Polish connection. Polish paper cutting is a traditional folk art )I love folk art), so couple the fact that I have Polish family with my love of Folk art and I just had to work with these products.
I made two cards with the Polish Papercuts 3D die set, my first card has a soft feel with Pastel colours, I used coloured card to die cut the pieces. The sentiment was stamped in Deep iris ink.
The second card has a brighter more contemporary feel. I used chalk board card to add the die cut pieces too, the Polish sentiment cześć is an informal greeting meaning hello, I stamped and embossed it in Crisp White.
Wow, so many awesome stamps and dies in this release. I was the last stop on the hop, but if you've missed anything or want to go back and look again, there is a full list of hop stops below.
