Hi everyone, I hope you are all well. Today I am sharing my 3 top picks from this month's Altenew release. Here in the UK we are lucky to get the release via Create and Craft TV ahead of the official release. I brought 3 stamp sets this month and wanted to share with you what I've created.
Pen Sketch Mandala is the stamp set I've been waiting for, for such a long time. I love a boho, ethnic style pattern and Mandalas are something I adore because they can be coloured in so many ways. I used finger daubers to add ink to the stamp, I didn't worry about any areas where colours met as I wanted a slightly distressed feel.
This month's release is by far one of my all time favorites. I can't wait to focus on these sets in my 3 ways with posts over the next few weeks. If you don't know about my 3 ways with series, please click "3 ways with" in the labels on the right hand side to find out more.

First up is the Peaceful Reverie stamp set. This stamp set consists of simple flower images with a detailed layer in a pointillism style. I have chosen to keep the detailed layer in the same colour as my base layer to just add subtle shading and details. This stamp set can be used in so many ways and I will be focusing next weeks 3 ways with post on the different ways in which you can use this set.
Pattern power is such a fun set, there are lots of patterns that can be created to give funky optical illusions. This is a must have for male themed cards and great for teenagers too. In keeping with the colour pallet used in my first card, I created a cute woven pattern on the lower part of my card, keeping lots of white space, which draws the eye down. I added my XOXO using the fine alpha dies.
