Contemporary Rose flurries tutorial

Today I am going to be walking you through a card I put together a while ago using Altenew's Rose Flurries 3D Die Set and Watercolor Stripes Cover Die

I received so many wonderful comments and lots of people asked me how I create the card, so I thought I'd put together a little tutorial.

I will be using Artist Markers Set AArtist Markers Set B and Artist Markers Set C to colour my flowers. I will also add a sentiment using the Frosted Garden Stamp Set.

The Rose Flurries die set contains a lot of dies and can be a little overwhelming to start with, my tip here is to mark each die and the packaging so you know which die create each flower. This makes things easier if you only want to cut a certain flower.

I use stencil/low tack tape to adhere my dies to white card which I have backed with double sided adhesive.  I also lay the dies out in the order that they stack to create each flower, this saves me time and makes colouring easier.

I die cut the Watercolor stripes cover die from black card and adhere it to a white 4.25 x 5.5 inch card blank.

Using Altenew artist markers I colour all of the flowers and leaves while still in the cardstock, this makes it less fiddly.

Putting the flowers together is really quick if you have used the double sided adhesive sheet on your card stock.

Next I stamped my chosen sentiment from the Frosted Garden stamp set onto a small piece of white card.  All that is left to do is put the card together.

Thanks for popping by today, see you again soon.
