It's Monday morning and I have some spare time on my hands so thought I'd share some inspiration with you all.
I am currently working with Altenew's Baby-zoo-stamp-die-bundle
It's an older set thats been designed for new baby cards.
I dont know anyone who is expecting a new addition at the moment so I wanted to see what other types of cards I could make.
The card above utilises the die set to create an aperture along with stamps from another set to give a striking effect.
This time I've created an aperture and stamped behind it with flowers and foliage creating a feminine look.
Washi tape adds a modern touch, keeping it in a grey allows the Giraffe to stand out.
Here I have used all of the animals from the stamp set and added a black and white strip of washi tape
This card is very different, I used a technique my daughter taught me; you add ink onto a plastic food bag, spritz with water and lay it on top of your card, you can scrunch it up a little to create movement in the ink. I cut the lion from the card and placed black card behind to give a very strong look. I added some Nuvo drops to give some dimension.
As you can see a stamp set designed for baby cards can be so much more.
Great cards Terri :)
