Paperbabe Stamps challenge #68 - Design team project

Morning everyone

Today we have an new challenge for you over on the Paperbabe Stamps blog and it's a favourite of yours, this time it's:

"Anything Goes"

It's your chance to go wild and create anything you like, challenge yourself or play it safe. It's totally up to you, we really have fun seeing what you crate and love it when you share your projects with us.

To help inspire you I reached for the cute Sitting Cat templates and face stamps and created a mixed media portrait.

Now, mixed media is not my thing but I drool over the wonderful work that I see out their from other artists and long to be able to create something close. A fellow crafter told me this week that I shouldn't give up and just o keep on trying and thats what I've done.

There's something so cute about this little Cat's face. I used my Brushos from Colourcraft to create a background for my piece, I started with a diluted mixture and then added some sprinkles too.

I am so in love with the Alice Mixed media collection that Kim has designed, in fact my last three projects have featured it. If you have't seen it yet pop by the shop and blog for tons of inspiration.

Have a fab weekend, speak to you again soon.

  2. Love the background you have created for your cat Terri, she works so well against it with her sleek design. I understand completely about stepping outside of the box with different medias but you have done a fabulous job.
