To Do...... Tutorial 3

Hi Guys,  It's been a very busy week, with lots of crafting, competitions and a giveaway on my facebook page, with so much going on I am worried I will miss something and I love a list, so I decided to make myself a place for all my lists..................

I started with an A4 piece of grey chipboard and punched two holes for my ribbon

I wanted it to have rounded corners so drew around my double sided tape and then cut off the corners with a strong pair of sissors

Next I stuck my chosen paper on the chipboard using double sided tape

I turned it over and trimmed the paper to match the curved corner, cutting from behind gives a nicer finish, I then used my sanding pad to smooth the edges

I then chose a ink pad in a blue chalk finish to run around the edges to soften the feel and I also pushed the paper through the holes using my pokey tool

Next I added a ring binder fitting from an old ringbinder, I did this using a riveting tool but you could use hot glue

I then picked out some decorations form the love a cuppa kit and used a promarker in pastel blue to edge all the pieces, this helps them to stand out a little form the background

I used foam pads to attach them to a piece of card for added dimension, this makes the front cover of the pad, I also cut several pieces of cheap printer paper, I found that dividing the paper into 3 pieces made the most out of it.....I hate waste

Then I put it all on the binder and added some ribbon for hanging and hey presto your done.

I hope you like it.

I'd love to hear your comments and questions, feel free to leave them in the comments section, you can always pop over to my facebook page and post your version of any of my makes
